Changing an Oppo A15 LCD the proper way.

Previous technician never cleaned the old adhesive, making the new adhesive adhere correctly thus causing the screen to lift a bit and damaged it.

Rebuilding this CPU after a proper maintenanace which I do every last month of a quarter. Next deep cleaning will be by December 2022. Regreased all fans so they spin quietly and smoothly. I used a Tamiya grease for it.

A full deep clean of a 2010 Apple Mac Pro 5,1

Removed all components to bare bone including the graphic card for deep cleaning.

Re-applied thermal paste on 2 Xeon CPU and as well as the GPU.

2 Apple 27-inch iMac release yesterday to the clients.

One iMac opted for an SSD Upgrade and 4x4GB Memory upgrade with MacOS installation.

While the other iMac just needed a GPU reflow and MacOS install. So it was the GPU causing issues with the boot up.

Finished building the Ryzen 7 Rig. A downside of the very massive Be Quiet Dark Rock Air Cooler is that due to its size it covers the RAM hence the waste on the RGB effect of the TridentZ G-Skill RAMs. But overall the built is good.

Will do some more testing and will try overclocking to maximize the potential of the Ryzen 7.

Cleaned a very old CPU full of dust.

CPU is a Core 2 Quad with an Inno3D 512MB dedicated graphics and 4x1gb Geil DDR2 Memory.

Issues:
1. Booting problem
2. Very dirty and dusty

Solution:
1. Cleaned every component
2. Reapplied thermal compound on CPU and GPU
3. Cleaned gold pins of the memory and made sure all are seated properly

Result:
Windows 7 OS booted as normal after fixing the bios date and time.
Surprised OS is still snappy and would open MS Office Apps very fast.

Recommendation:
1. Change CMOS Battery
2. Possible to upgrade memory to 8GB (2x2GB)
3. Upgrade Dedicated Video Card
4. Upgrade Power Supply Unit
5. Add more fans for intake and exhaust

A client brought his 13-inch Macbook Pro Late 2011 with the following issues.

Issues:
1. He tried reinstalling the MacOS High Sierra via Online Recovery and every time it finished installing the OS, it still won't boot and goes on a boot loop on the recovery.

Recommendation:
1. To solve the boot loop, MacOS will be installed via USB rather than Online Recovery.
2. Upgrade HDD to SSD instead. MacOS will be cloned to the new SSD.
3. Boost and max out the memory that the MBP can take which is 16GB (2x8GB 1333Mhz DDR3 Sodimm)
4. Install a caddy and remove the DVD Drive as it is very seldom used. Instead use the caddy to repurpose the original HDD as a 2nd internal drive to store files on.
5. Cleaning and re-application of thermal paste for a fresh a newer thermal paste on the CPU and GPU.

Results:
1. Boot time was improved from around 5-10 minutes for it to become useable already to 20-30 seconds. All this is just because of the SSD installed.
2. No more bottleneck on the memory that the system need. Multitasking can be achieved again.
3. CPU and GPU is happy with the it being cooler than before as it can breath well. Take note that overheating or thermal throttling can make your laptop sluggish and sometimes crash.
4. MBP now has 2 internal storage.
5 One very happy client!
