What a wonderful opening day in Dumaguete!

We're grateful to everyone who dropped by our booth, browsed our shelves, discovered new stories, and celebrated Filipino books with us. From award-winning children's literature to regional language titles, literary classics, and independent publications, every conversation reminded us why books continue to bring people together.

We are especially grateful to Aklat Alamid and the National Book Development Board - Philippines for allowing small indie publishers to have tiny spaces at prestigious book fairs like the 6200 Book Fest.

Children's books in the Philippines are due for more exciting presentations to level up our competitive advantage globally. From creative use of UV lamination and foils to highlight cover designs, are we now ready to explore pop-up books for children?

Here is a chance for us to explore the world of paper engineering! Amy Nayve, an industrial engineering graduate, is the only Filipina internationally-recognized paper engineer. Founder of Pumapapel Pop-Up Design Studio, she will walk us through the basic principles in paper-engineered designs to help us develop more exciting books for children!
