DHMSPH IS NOW CELEBRATING ITS 7TH YEAR ANNIVERSARY.
DHMSPH started with a DHPCM logo when it first started last March 21, 2013 but first published December 25, 2012. (You may see the transparency section for more details.)
I was still in 2nd year at Quezon City Science High School when I created this page. It was just a very soft launch because I just wanted to have a branding or a name when my services will be readily available for everyone.
DHMSPH initially started as a printing service for my classmates because the printing services offered at school was expensive. I offered to print for them at a lower price. I also had a hard time making school projects when I was a freshman because I did not have any printer at home. Paying PHP5/page full of text at a far internet cafe is already a huge deal for me back then. I did then found an old HP printer at my father’s warehouse that seems to be thrown away by some company. I managed to salvage the printer and it works pretty well.
You may be wondering on why I added those computer services on this page. Here’s why.
Way back when I was in Grade 3, my father sent my computer for repair. It returned almost a month after but I was not satisfied.
ALL MY FILES WERE GONE. MY COMPUTER SLOWED DOWN.
I realized that my RAM where either swapped or taken. My Google Chrome did not even respond with my computer’s 512MB RAM.I said to myself not to trust any third-party technicians and make myself knowledgeable to fix my own computer. (That was long ago.)
This page is not very active of its first five years. I rarely posted anything. It was just a plain old page.
When I reached college level here at UP Diliman, I tried re-opening/”renovating” this page to accommodate someone who needs my help. I failed because I was busy doing all of my subjects because I wanted to shift to an Engineering course.
When I succeeded shifting, I also succeeded re-opening this page. I have allotted some time to post anything that I can offer. It was a great year last year 2018 during DHMSPH’s year-long 5th year anniversary.
Honestly, I made it a year-long celebration because I always forget my page’s anniversary date hahaha. I have adjusted myself to do better for this page. I did even lowered my existing service fees.
Last 4th year anniversary, my computer service fees are:
REFORMATTING: PHP 499 for students and PHP 749* for non-students.
I really thought that this was a good deal because the service fees from “third-party service centers” where 100-200% higher than my service fees. I saw some shares that my service fee is too expensive and it is always free for computer science students. I was disappointed because some of them cannot understand what I want to imply and then laughed at me.
I was then also frustrated because there were some attempts to report this page because of PIRACY. People do some piracy sometimes but this page does not tolerate any of that.
After all of that, I have decided to make a promo in which I offered my services even more affordable. From 499 to 299 and 749 to 499. I also added some freebies to help boost my page reach.
It was a success and I made my promo a fixed one.
The services I offered may be too affordable but my family needed more support. As the eldest child, I really made my service fees a permanent one to attract more customers. Thankfully, I was able to support myself and to shop for some groceries.
I am very thankful to my classmates because they were the ones that supported me in this page journey. I want to special mention Geraldine Anne Naldoza, Cheska Rosales, Angelo Valeriano, Holly Ang, and Thea Delideli for motivating me to continue.
[7th Year Anniversary]
Hey, I have reached 7 years on this page. I am happy to announce a new DHMSPH service called Laptop Screen Replacement Service where I can replace/upgrade your laptop screen. This service started unexpectedly due to a DHMSPH customer that cries over her broken DELL Laptop screen. (The one who broke the screen didn’t even apologized to her.) Her laptop screen is so rare that I even spent the whole day finding one. I managed to make her save at least PHP 6000 if it was done by the DELL service center or other third-party technicians.
As for the DHMSPH services, three (3) solid services + one (1) add-on service is available for everyone.
As for the solo admin (for 7 years) update, I will be expected to graduate 2 years from now here in UPD. I have thought of DHMSPH leaving UPD soon as I do not have any co-workers. Making DHMSPH continue its services in UPD after 2022 is quite small but not impossible. I am really thankful for the 3 active years of DHMSPH in UPD that it really helped my family in terms of financial needs. I am also happy that I am able to serve co-UPD students with their tech needs.
For students that needs my help, you may always ask me even though you cannot pay immediately. I will fix your laptop ASAP to make sure your presentations, thesis or school papers will be done without any hassle.
