The Philippine Embassy in Washington D.C. has reached out to U.S. authorities after several Filipino seafarers were denied entry at American ports in recent months.
The embassy said it is coordinating with the U.S. State Department and Homeland Security to ensure due process and consular notification are followed. Over 90 Filipino seafarers have reportedly been deported since early 2025.
