Position: Java-Kotlin Instructor

Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated instructor/trainer who will be responsible for teaching software development to students with or without prior IT background or experience. Aside from teaching, the instructor is expected to join training and meetings to keep up to date with the latest technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Teach Software Development through discussions, demonstrations, code-along sessions, and other activities.
- Apply learning methods to keep students engaged (e.g., gamification platforms)
- Conduct student consultations and assessment
- Review, score and provide feedback on student activities and projects
- Document student progress and submit a report to management
- Modify curriculum based on student feedback and preferences to ensure quality training
- Collaborate with teaching assistant to better manage student cohort
- Other tasks deemed appropriate by management
Basic Qualifications:
- Graduate of IT/CS or any related course
- At least 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer or equivalent practical experience
- Must have a passion for teaching and managing students including absolute beginners
- Has experience in creating course materials using PowerPoint and other presentation software programs
- Familiar with web-based learning platforms and modern online teaching tools
- Good communication skills and comfortable in explaining technical terms in both English and Filipino
- Amenable to work from Mondays to Fridays; 9 am to 6 pm
