ASEAN Engineering Register (AER)
"The ASEAN Engineering Register is on an important mission from 1998 to spearhead the mobility of engineers within ASEAN. This is in line with the ASEAN Secretarial Program for the liberalisation of professional services within ASEAN to prepare for globalisation under the World Trade Organization (WTO) initiative."

N.B. The Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines (IECEP) endorses Electronics Practitioners (engineers and technicians) to Philippine Technological Council (PTC) prior admission to ASEAN Engineering Register (AER)

Good news! The Electronics Engineering practitioners (ECE) are recognized in practicing engineering profession in the ASEAN region. The Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines (IECEP) is the Accredited Integrated Professional Organization of ECEs that endorses its members to the PHILIPPINE TECHNOLOGICAL COUNCIL (PTC) for further evaluation and later endorsement to ASEAN Engineer Register upon meeting requirements.
