Behind every robot is a student who dared to dream, a team that worked together, a coach who believed, and a school that nurtured innovation.

For the May–June2026 Issue of the Philippine Robotics Journal, we invite young robot athletes (at least high school level), robotics teams, coaches, and school officials to share their stories. Tell us about your competitions, projects, challenges, breakthroughs, and unforgettable moments in robotics.

Japan Awaits: Celebrating Our WRGPH Winners

The list of awardees is long - and that's something worth celebrating. In fact, it could have been even longer, because we were fortunate to see so many bright, talented, and hardworking students this year.

To those who made the list, congratulations on your achievement. Your dedication, curiosity, and perseverance have paid off. Continue inspiring others with your passion for innovation and excellence.

WRGPH2026 SUMOBOT GAMES – Road to WRG Japan is just around the corner.

❗️Please note: schedules have been moved earlier than originally planned, so make sure you’re ready ahead of time.

The event is on May 30, 2026 at Gimenez Gallery, UP Diliman, Quezon City. Please pay close attention to registration and game run times. Be there by 7:30am.

Excited? Yeah, same. Nervous? Also valid. It’s a full day of builds, breaks, breakdowns, and hopefully brilliant recoveries.

Wave assignments will be given onsite, and registered participants will receive full details via email. Bring a fully charged laptop - you will need it for reprogramming, and borrowing during the event is not exactly a winning strategy.

Winners from OMG, iBeam/kBeams, Innovation, Artec, and PLT are invited to the awarding ceremony. If you can’t make it, medals may be claimed at the Data Science Office during office hours after May 30, 2026.

See you at UP Diliman. May your robots be stable, and your codes compile on the first try. 🙏
