The ILCDB will be offering a FREE IN-PERSON TRAINING course, titled “Training of Trainers: Data Science and Analytics'' from May 21 to 23, 2024 from 8:00AM to 5:00PM at the DICT Central Office in Diliman, Quezon city.

The data science and analytics course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive introduction to the field of data science and analytics. The course covers fundamental concepts, techniques, and tools used in analyzing and interpreting large and complex datasets to extract meaningful insights and make data-driven decisions.This training course is designed to cater to individuals with backgrounds in or are currently teaching advanced ICT educational programs/courses and will be conducted in-person (face-to-face).

Requirements for registration:

-Participants must be residing within the NCR, as the training will be conducted in-person.

-Participants should ideally have basic knowledge of statistics, Python and R Programming skills, Mathematics foundation, database concepts, exploratory data analysis (EDA), and machine learning fundamentals.

-Participants must have teaching and curriculum development experience in data science and analytics.

There will be 50 slots available for qualified participants.

The ILCDB will be offering a FREE ONLINE TRAINING course, titled “Python Programming Essentials'' from May 21 to 23, 2024 from 5:00PM to 9:00PM online via Zoom.

The Python Programming Essential Course is a technical course that measures the participant’s ability to accomplish coding tasks related to the basics of programming in the Python language and the fundamental notions and techniques used in object-oriented programming.

This training course will be open for Programmers-in-Training, Practicing programmers, Systems Analysts, and Web Developers.

There will be 50 slots available for qualified participants.
