We are hiring!

MyPortal Exchange Inc., a digital solutions startup based in Ortigas, is looking for a JUNIOR UI/UX DESIGNER. Submit your updated CV/resume + portfolio to [email protected].

The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful design, possess superior UI skills and be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts, and transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product management and dev team to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience
- Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to development
- Conceptualize original ideas with the Senior UI/UX Designer that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas

Requirements:
- Proven UI/UX experience
- Demonstrable design skills with a strong portfolio
- Proficiency in Photoshop and/or Illustrator, InDesign, Sketch, and other tools
- Working knowledge in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Bootstrap or equivalent framework
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
- Up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies
- Familiarity with working in an Agile/Scrum development process

MyPortal Exchange Inc., a digital solutions startup based in Ortigas, is looking for an ANDROID DEVELOPER. Update your CV/resume & send it to [email protected].

Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing or updating existing mobile applications that have a social significance. Your work will be varied, challenging and interesting.
- Must be able to manage your own time, support the management teams, document your code and work efficiently to reach deadlines.
- In addition, you will be able to follow specifications (usually through wireframes) and work with designers to integrate the application’s look and feel.
- Finally, you will be required to test and work with QA teams to fix bugs and make applications ready for submission to the Google Play store.

Requirements:
- Proven software development experience
- Proven working experience in Android development
- Has worked on in at least one published Android app
- Must be familiar/has experience with:
* Android Studio
* Android SDK
* Remote data via REST and JSON
* Third-party libraries and APIs
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
- Has a solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
- Familiarity with Agile development practices
- Strong analytical and planning skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
