JOB POSTING – EHS MANAGER & OFFICER (TELECOM PROJECT)
Position 1: Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager
Location: Philippines
🧭 Key Responsibilities:
Lead and enforce environmental, health, and safety compliance at project sites across all phases: survey, delivery, installation, integration, and testing.
Develop and implement EHS plans, risk assessments, and hazard control procedures based on project milestones (e.g., material pull-out, tower work, equipment commissioning).
Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) and toolbox meetings at major rollout milestones (e.g., antenna lifting, BBU/DC power connection).
Monitor field teams during tasks such as RRU/antenna installation, cable pulling, grounding, waterproofing, and BFT/SSV ex*****on.
Ensure proper PPE usage, equipment safety, and grounding protocols during high-risk activities (climbing, electrical work).
Coordinate with TowerCo/Operator EHS for permit-to-work and access clearances.
Track, document, and report any near misses, incidents, or non-compliance.
Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Maintain compliance with Globe (or other operator) EHS standards, local DOLE regulations, and ISO 45001 requirements.
Mentor and manage site EHS officers.
✅ Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in EHS roles within telecom.
DOLE-certified OSH Practitioner or equivalent.
Knowledge of telecom site components (RRU, BBU, antenna, power supply, GPS, cabling, etc.).
Strong leadership, documentation, and field audit skills.
Experience with telecom operator compliance protocols is an advantage.
💼 Position 2: Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Officer
🧭 Key Responsibilities:
Implement daily site safety protocols and verify hazard controls for each project task (e.g., site survey, antenna work, commissioning).
Support in pre-task hazard identification, PPE checks, and equipment inspection.
Monitor activities during telecom installation: directional antenna mounting, RRU/BBU setup, CPRI/DC cabling, waterproofing, etc.
Ensure that workers follow safety guidelines for lifting, climbing, electrical connections, and test equipment use.
Conduct daily toolbox meetings and participate in SSV/SSO testing support to ensure safe ex*****on.
Support emergency response planning and first-aid procedures.
Fill out checklists and safety logs, and coordinate with TowerCo/operator safety teams as needed.
Report to the EHS manager any unsafe acts, near misses, or incidents immediately.
✅ Qualifications:
Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in telecom.
DOLE-accredited OSH Safety Officer Level 2 preferred.
Familiarity with telecom site safety risks (climbing, power handling, RF exposure).
Detail-oriented, proactive, and mobile for inter-site deployment.
