The Bureau of Internal Revenue, in coordination with the Department of Trade and Industry, is expected to intensify its enforcement efforts against businesses that fail to comply with tax and invoicing regulations. Businesses found to be noncompliant may be subject to enforcement actions, including possible suspension of operations as allowed under applicable laws and regulations.
