Answer: Same 40-pin layout and 3.3V logic, but the Pi 5 routes GPIO through the RP1 I/O controller instead of the SoC directly. Most libraries handle it transparently.

Why does the ESP32 have two cores but Arduino sketches only feel like one?

Answer: The Arduino-Core ESP32 framework runs your loop() on Core 1 (app core). Core 0 handles WiFi/BT. You can pin tasks to either core with xTaskCreatePinnedToCore().
