There's a saying, "Do it RIGHT, do it ONCE"

In this case, when dealing with your timing system make sure to do everything at once; timing chain, chain guide tension side, chain guide slack side, sprockets, and most importantly-CHAIN TENSIONER.

Not to mention, checking for oil sludge between the replacement as well

Skipping the tensioner replacement ended up with a catastophic engine failure: pump chain failure and jumped timing tooth costing the owner a general engine overhaul. Something that could've been prevented had it just been done completely.

its not the owner's responsibility to know which ones to replace, but would be worth asking a second opinion for especially if you get billed 6 digits for it.

Came in knocking with a rod bearing spun! Out purring nicely.
