We've got some interesting meteorological conditions to talk about today in NCR, CALABARZON, and parts of Central Luzon. 🌍
Right now, the stage is set for the formation of haze or smog. 😷 What's causing this? Well, it's all about those tiny particles that are playing hide and seek close to the Earth's surface. 🌬️
Here's the science behind it: a thermal inversion, high humidity, and calm winds are teaming up to keep these particles right where they are. These particles can be a mix of smoke, pollutants, or even volcanic aerosols. 🔍
Now, what's this thermal inversion? 🤔 It's when different layers of the atmosphere decide not to mingle, which traps those aerosols below. 🌁
But don't worry, as the day goes on, the sun's heat will come to the rescue. ☀️ It'll stir things up, mixing the air and allowing those pesky aerosols to scatter away. 🌬️
However, if the clouds decide to stick around, they might slow down the process and keep the haze lingering a bit longer. ☁️
