On Friday, January 9, 2026 at 11:34 AM, a well‑known Filipino bug bounty hunter a respected figure and cybersecurity expert publicly shared that his inactive Instagram account received an attempted login alert.

Let that sink in.

This is someone widely regarded as a guru in cybersecurity, with strong OPSEC practices. The idea that this happened due to weak security or negligence is extremely unlikely.
So I dug deeper.

🚨 CYBER ALERT: AI-Generated Scams Targeting Filipinos 🚨
(Para sa Publiko at Pamahalaan)

Mga kababayan, mag-ingat po tayo!
May nadiskubre kami dito sa Meta (Facebook/Instagram) na ginagamit ng cybercriminals at scammers ang Artificial Intelligence (AI) para mangloko ng tao.

Paano ito ginagawa?
- Gumagamit sila ng AI-generated videos at voices na halos kopyang-kopya ang itsura at boses ng mga kilalang tao — politiko, pangulo, artista, at iba pa.
- Ipinapakita sa mga sponsored ads na parang sila mismo ang nag-eendorso ng produkto o investment.
- Dahil sobrang kapareho ng mukha at boses, maraming tao ang nalilinlang, lalo na ‘yung mga hindi pamilyar sa AI technology.

📍 Mga natuklasan sa aming imbestigasyon:

- 17 fake videos na kumakalat sa social media — lahat ay halos identical ang style at content.
- 4 identities na may parehong motibo ang natukoy naming nasa likod ng mga video na ito.

Paano namin na-spot na FAKE ito base sa analysis:
1. Galaw ng katawan – Madalas sobra o hindi natural ang galaw.
2. Panga at bibig – Hindi tugma ang galaw ng panga sa salita.
3. Adam’s apple – Hindi gumagalaw kahit nagsasalita.
4, Speech pattern – Walang natural na paghinto o emosyon sa boses (robotic at “heartless” ang dating).
5. Glitch sa boses - yung boses niya na parang robot sa vowels and distortion.

Babala:
- Ang video na ipapakita namin ay pekeng content — isa sa mga fake news videos na kumakalat ngayon sa social media.
- Sa comment section, ilalagay namin ang lahat ng 17 fake videos na natukoy para makita ninyo at maiwasan.

Ano ang dapat gawin ng publiko?
- Kung may nakita kayong website o FB page na pinagdududahan, i-comment po dito.
- Kami sa CyberAwareness at SilentBytes ay handang i-verify ito nang libre bago kayo mag-loan, magpadala ng pera, o gumawa ng desisyon.

Milyon-milyong bata ang naglalaro online — at nandoon din ang mga mandarambong.

Online games like Roblox look harmless — colorful, creative, and fun. But beneath the avatars are strangers with real-world intentions. Many predators disguise themselves as kids, blending in with your child’s world. They exploit the trust of young gamers and use platforms to manipulate and groom them. Parents often realize the danger only when it's too late.

💡 Did You Know?

- Roblox has over 79.5 million daily users — a virtual city of players logging in every day.
- About 58% of them are kids under 16 — that's over 46 million minors exposed to strangers online.
- Roblox developers earned $410+ million in just the first half of 2024 — it’s not just a game, it’s a digital economy.
- Many of these games include chat, trading, and private groups — all open for abuse.
- Games are not private — they are public digital spaces accessible by anyone, anywhere.

Ito ay hindi lang laro — ito ay parang open playground kung saan kahit sino ay puwedeng pumasok.

⚠️ How Predators Lure Children Inside Games

- They create fake profiles pretending to be children.
- They use in-game chats or private messages to gain trust slowly.
- They offer Robux, game perks, or gifts in exchange for photos or secrets.
- Conversations then move to Discord, Messenger, or other apps where they can use video and voice.
- The grooming is subtle — it can happen over weeks or months, often unnoticed by parents.

👨‍👩‍👧 How to Keep Your Child Safe

Always know who your child is talking to online. Ask questions, check their chat history.
- Turn on privacy settings: disable chat, friend requests from strangers, and unknown invites.
- Talk openly about the risks — let your child know they can tell you anything without judgment.
- Teach them the rule:
“Never share photos, passwords, or private info — even if they seem like a friend.”
- Create a safe space where your child can report anything unusual, scary, or confusing.

Sa digital na panahon, ang “bantay bata” ay dapat online din. Kung marunong kang bantayan ang anak mo sa labas ng bahay, dapat kaya mo rin sa loob ng screen.

Magsimula sa simpleng chat, pero puwedeng mauwi sa blackmail o pisikal na panganib. Ang anak mo ay puwedeng maging target — kahit gaano siya ka-ingat.

🔎 Ano ang Gagawin Kung Nabiktima Ka o ang Anak Mo ng Online Predator?

Take screenshots or save conversations — never delete the evidence.

- Report to authorities immediately — PNP Cybercrime Division or NBI Anti-Cybercrime Group.
- Seek psychological or emotional support — grooming causes trauma.
- Block and secure all accounts. Reset passwords, enable 2FA.
- Report to the platform (Roblox, Discord, etc.) — push for account removal.

📌 Huwag mahiya. Hindi kasalanan ng biktima. Ang pananahimik ay nagbibigay lakas sa predator. Kumilos agad.

📌 Ang kasiyahan online ay hindi dapat mauwi sa panganib sa totoong buhay.
