On October 1, 2026, what began as an idea to honor teachers became a collaborative production as we prepared and filmed โKwentong Titser: A Teacherโs Day Special,โ a short film dedicated to educators who continue to teach, guide, and influence the lives of their students.
The short film centers on the everyday experiences shared between teachers and students. Through a lighthearted and relatable narrative, it portrays different teacher personalities, familiar classroom situations, and humorous moments that students can easily recognize. More than simply showcasing classroom experiences, the film aims to highlight the stories and experiences behind every teacher.
The production was directed by Juliana P. De Leon, with Hazel Salvador and Mart Eiram E. Mondragon serving as co-directors and Ms. Kyla N. Bugarin taking on the lead role. Together, they worked to translate the concept into scenes that reflect the realities and memorable moments of classroom life.
Behind the camera, student members took on various responsibilities throughout the production. From acting and camera operation to technical production, photography, voice work, poetry, and drone operation, each member helped bring the project to life.
For us, preparing and producing โKwentong Titserโ was also an opportunity to reflect on our own experiences as students. The familiar jokes, classroom interactions, challenges, and small moments portrayed in the film reflect experiences that have become part of our lives as students.
We also extend our sincere appreciation to Prof. Noel D. Bulawan for his support and contributions in bringing this film to life.
โKwentong Titser: A Teacherโs Day Specialโ serves as our tribute to educators who do more than deliver lessons. Through their guidance, patience, and dedication, teachers become part of their studentsโ stories, leaving lessons and memories that extend far beyond the classroom.
Behind every teacher is a story, and behind every story are students who remember.
