ANIEOKE (ANIME KARAOKE) SINGING CONTEST RULES & REGULATIONS
These rules are Anime Alliance’s standards only and are in-effect immediately, unless otherwise stated.
Anieoke Competition registration is on a first come, first serve basis. Sign up begins as early as the gates open and closes at the discretion of the contest committee.
For your entry to be accepted you must have read and be able to follow the Anieoke Contest Rules & Guidelines.
Open for all event goers with a duly finished registration form. Aspiring participants that has general knowledge of anime songs, J*panese pop (J-pop) and J*panese rock (J-rock) is an advantage.
Contestants must be of legal age. Minors (aged 16 and below) must be accompanied by a legal guardian.
- The legal guardian must understand the rules and regulations in behalf of the participant.
Song selection will come from the contest committee. Participants will be allowed to choose ONLY in the list that the committee provides.
Selection of your piece will be done on the event day upon registration and on a first come, first serve basis.
- Once a song has been selected, it can still be selected by a different participant.
- A maximum of two songs can be selected by each participant.
o One as a primary song and the other as a secondary.
Performance schedules may vary, so always please check with our contest relations desk for any updated information.
The event and contest staff up to their 2nd degree of consanguinity is not allowed to participate in this competition.
Anime Alliance and its event partners, together with the organizers reserve the right to amend rules and regulations of the contest as deemed appropriate. Furthermore, we reserve the right to remain with our final decision in any disputes that should arise concerning the contest.
Failure to comply with any contest rules may result in disqualification.
Any props that participants would like to use should be in compliance with Anime Alliance Public Safety and Security Weapons and Props Policy.
Judging criteria for the competition is as follows:
Lyric Accuracy and Pronunciation (40%)
How accurate does the participant pronounces the lyrics
Voice Quality and Projection (30%)
Stage performance and how the participant projects his/her voice on stage
Uniqueness and Personal Rendition (20%)
How the participant delivers the song to match his/her pitch.
Audience Impact (10%)
How the audience reacts to the participant’s performance on stage.
Lyric Accuracy and Pronunciation 40%
Voice Quality and Projection 30%
Uniqueness and Personal Rendition 20%
Audience Impact 10%
