PBSP, in partnership with Accenture in the Philippines and YMCA of Manila, Inc. invites eligible women to apply for the Nanays in IT (NIT) Program — a FREE 6-month training and internship program designed to equip participants with in-demand digital and professional skills while providing employment support upon completion.

Near-Hire Training is Back in Ilocos Norte!

PBSP recently visited Barangay 24 Santa Monica and Barangay 22 Catuguing in San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte to mark the reopening of our Near-Hire Training Program in the province.

Meetings were conducted with Brgy. Chairperson Dennis Bonilla (Brgy. Santa Monica) and Brgy. Chairperson Robinson B. Barayugan (Brgy. Catuguing) for the roll-out of the Program.

This program, funded by Accenture in the Philippines for 11 years now, continues to equip jobseekers with the skills and confidence they need to secure employment and start meaningful careers.

With this program, we are building stronger communities and creating more opportunities for Filipinos.

This year’s Nanays in IT Program officially begins!

Last September 15, an Orientation, followed by the official Kick-Off Ceremony of the Nanays in IT Program was held. The Program is funded by Accenture in the Philippines and implemented in partnership with PBSP and the YMCA of Manila.

This year marks an exciting milestone as the program, previously exclusive to Mega Manila, now also welcomes Nanay learners from Cebu City—bringing together a total of 80 participants.

Ms. Mayette Zarate, Managing Director and Program Sponsor of Accenture in the Philippines delivered the message to inspire the learners to embrace this 6-month journey with confidence and purpose.

Since 2022 the Program has trained 155 nanays and individuals. To date, 76% of the graduates are employed.
