SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT FOR CP-GIFTS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM ORIENTATION FOR INCOMING FIRST-YEAR STUDENTS (AY 2026-2027)

All incoming first-year students of Mandaue City College are invited to attend the Cebu Province-Grants Intended for Tertiary Students (CP-GIFTS) Scholarship Orientation on July 28, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Student Lounge (SL).

The orientation will provide important information on available scholarship programs, eligibility requirements, application procedures, and other related guidelines.

CP-GIFTS benefits deserving, low-income youth by easing the financial burden of college by providing eligible incoming college freshmen in Cebu Province with a financial grant of P10,000 per semester. It is specifically designed to cover meals, transportation, and accommodation for students attending public universities and colleges. The grant remains if the grantee/scholar keeps the required maintaining grade or GWA.

For more information, all freshmen are highly encouraged to attend the orientation and arrive on time. Registration for attendance will start at 12:30 PM at the entrance lobby.

Computer Society Organizational Orientation 2026! 🎉

A warm welcome to all our first-year Computer Technology students! Thank you for joining our Organizational Orientation and for making this event a great success. We hope you enjoyed learning more about the Computer Society (COMSOC), meeting our dedicated officers, and discovering the opportunities that await you throughout the academic year.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to our organization adviser, Mr. Richard Perez, for his guidance, encouragement, and unwavering support in helping us shape future innovators and leaders.

A special thank you as well to Ms. Robelle Centillas, our support system and "Mother Dragon, rawr " for all your time, effort, and dedication behind the scenes. Your continuous support played a huge role in the success of this orientation, and we truly appreciate everything you do for us.

The Leaders of Computer Society invites all Computer Technology first-year students to our annual Organizational Orientation. This event aims to introduce our student body, discuss the Constitution and By-Laws (CBL), elect your 1st-year representatives, and align everyone with the organization’s vision for the academic year.

Get ready to step into your college life with a new academic year filled with fresh opportunities, meaningful experiences, and exciting beginnings. Join us for the General Student Orientation for AY 2026–2027 as we officially welcome our freshmen and prepare everyone for the year ahead.

Date: July 13, 2026 (MONDAY)
Time: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Venue: Mandaue City College Student Lounge

FOR FIRST YEARS, TRANSFEREES, & RETURNEES:
Dress Code Reminder: Please wear a white T-shirt or polo shirt, jeans/maong pants, and rubber shoes.
THIS IS AN ONSITE ORIENTATION.
Please note: Wearing slippers is strictly not allowed.
REGISTRATION STARTS AT 7:30 AM AT THE ENTRANCE LOBBY.

Note: Those who have already submitted their enrollment forms and are just waiting for the release of study load MUST attend this orientation. Others still processing their enrollment are also encouraged to attend.

FOR SECOND TO FOURTH YEARS FROM ALL DEPARTMENTS:
You will join the orientation via Facebook Live. We encourage you to attend as NEW POLICIES WILL BE DISCUSSED in the morning session. For attendance check-ins, kindly coordinate with your respective block mayors for the instructions.

Come on time, dress appropriately, and bring your energy and enthusiasm as we begin another exciting academic year together.
