CAMPF Philippines online mentorship in the Philippines drives career acceleration, bridging the local skills gap by providing targeted, industry-relevant training in platforms like AWS and Azure. It offers flexible, 1-to-1 coaching and specialized workshops that increase employability, boost salaries, and foster professional networking, even for beginners or career shifters.

Key Benefits of IT CAMPF Mentorship in the Philippines:

Accelerated Career Growth: Mentored professionals, such as those through CAMPF Philippines, are promoted up to five times more often, with opportunities to secure high-paying roles (e.g., in the 60k+ PHP range) as cloud developers or engineers, sometimes without prior experience.

Targeted Skill Development: Programs focus on hands-on deployment and management of cloud infrastructure (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).

Flexible Learning & Networking: Options include online, 1-to-1 coaching and small-batch, recorded sessions.
Industry-Aligned Credentials: Mentors often guide mentees to earn, or help them understand, valuable certifications and digital badges (e.g., AWS).

Addressing Local Talent Gap: Mentorship aids in overcoming the "yawning skill gap" in the Philippine IT sector, preparing professionals for the increasing demand for cloud adoption.

πŸ” AWS VPC: Internet Gateway vs NAT Gateway β€” finally made simple

If you’re learning AWS networking, this is one concept that confuses almost everyone at the start (including me).

Here’s the easy way to remember it πŸ‘‡

🌐 Internet Gateway (IGW)
β€’ Used by public subnets
β€’ Allows incoming + outgoing internet traffic
β€’ Your EC2 needs a public IP
β€’ Best for web servers, bastion hosts

πŸ”’ NAT Gateway
β€’ Used by private subnets
β€’ Allows only outgoing internet traffic
β€’ No inbound access from the internet
β€’ Perfect for app servers, backend services, updates

πŸ‘‰ Simple rule:
Public resources β†’ Internet Gateway
Private resources that still need internet β†’ NAT Gateway

Understanding this clearly is a core AWS skill for Cloud & DevOps roles.

If you’re learning AWS, save this β€” it’ll help during interviews too πŸ’‘

AWS VPC ( Virtual Private Cloud ) :

When I started learning AWS, the first confusing topic for me was VPC.
But the full idea is actually very simple once you understand subnets.
A VPC is just our private network inside AWS.

Inside this VPC we create subnets.
Some subnets are public and some subnets are private.
Public subnet means the EC2 inside it can talk to the internet with the help of Internet Gateway.
Private subnet means it cannot reach the internet directly.
This is used for databases and backend services for security.

We also use Route Tables.
Route table decides how traffic flows.
If the route table has a route pointing to IGW, that subnet becomes public.
If it does not have IGW, then it is private.

In real projects, the simple design is:
public subnet for load balancers
private subnet for app servers
private subnet for database

This keeps the architecture clean and secure.

If someone is starting AWS, VPC and subnets is the best first topic to understand because almost every AWS service runs inside a VPC today.
