The long wait is finally over!

We are now back in accepting units in line for repair after a long clean up of units queued! 😊😊😊

2022 is such a wonderful year as we repaired more than 300+ units that makes our musicians back in making music once again!

As for the year 2023, we will boost our services and to provide more repairs on your unit needs.

SCHEDULE OF RE-OPENING:

We will officially open our slot on:
1.) January 4, 2023 Wednesday to January 7, 2023
For reservations of units in line for repair --- *Applicable only for courier services* (no walkins until below date)

2.) January 9, 2023 Monday to onwards
For courier and walkins of units in line for repair.

IMPORTANT:

1.) Shop schedule is at 10am to 6pm only Mondays to Saturdays. (Sundays, Holidays are considered as day off as well as Personal break)
2.) 20 units cutoff per batch. (We will start at batch 1 for year 2023)
3.) Direct message the page first for scheduling your units in line for repair. (Strictly 1st come 1st serve and no on the spot repair)
4.) All units will be checked up first before the pricing quotation.
5.) All units requires a filled up form for the proper identification of unit and owner of items sent to us. (Only fill up the form the day you are sending it and 1 form per unit)

Good evening!

Due to high loads of units received starting from amps, keyboards, multi effects, analog effects, studio equipment and such we have received from 3 consecutive batches, D'ds Elex will stop ACCEPTING units for repair starting today November 22, 2022 until further notice.

This is to focus on the batches that have units in line for repair and for those units that are in queue.

We will post once again reopening once batches are cleared and ready for accepting new units in line for repair.

Thank you for all your solid support and patronizing D'ds Elex as your musical electronics equipment repair tech!

PS: on going batches are: 14, 15 and 16.

In times of these lousy weather calamities, we as musicians and electronic equipment owners risk having our beloved/owned equipment damaged due to flood and any unwanted water-damaging circumstances.

Here are some quick tips and remedies if you end up with your gear damaged by flood water.

For stompboxes, multi-effects, and other musical electronic equipment:

1.) REMOVE any battery inserted in powering your unit.
2.) DON'T plug any power source if you doubt your gear to be damaged by water.
3.) Quickly dry your equipment with a damp cloth or until it reached a dry surface externally.
4.) If your gear is completely submerged in flood water, remove the back panel of the gear and check if water reaches the PCB or circuitry inside.

a.) You can use a blower to completely dry the PCB. (Do not apply direct heat onto one single surface. Do a distributed motion for the heat to spread out through.)
b.) Dry the PCB/circuitry with a paper towel or a damp cloth if necessary or until the water is completely removed.
c.) Do not wait for the sun to dry out the water inside your circuitry as it might cause unwanted rust on contact points, component legs, or traces. (Rust can do moderate to severe damage if you left it untreated well.)
d.) If your unit is submerged in mud, you can apply isopropyl alcohol, lighter fluid, wet wipes (immediately wipe with a dry towel or cloth), and lacquer thinner (not too much) to remove the mud on your unit.
e.) If you are unsure about what to do with your equipment/gear, you can message us directly so we can provide a remedy for your unit.

For amplifiers, Pro audio speakers, etc.

1.) DON'T plug power immediately on the unit if you are unsure if water gets inside the PCB/circuitry of the unit.
2.) Dry a damp cloth on the outsides of the amplifier immediately, especially those that are made of wood casings as it may cause breakage and severe damage to the construction of the unit.
3.) If your amplifier/speakers are completely submerged in flood water or/with mud:

a.) Do not work on PCB's/circuitry especially if you have very little knowledge of electronics as it can cause electrical shock (For stored charges on Main filter capacitors up to 400VDC) to you or someone.
b.) For this, we strongly recommend calling a qualified technician to check about the damage that has been done to your unit.

Be aware to keep yourself and your family safe than that electronic equipment as this equipment can be possibly repaired/replaced but you and your family's lives matter the most.

Stay safe and dry and remember that there is D'ds Elex that provides repair and restoration for your musical electronic equipment instruments need! 😊😊😊

Goodafternoon!

After a long wait and due to some clients asking for the schedule of reopening, D'ds Elex will open next week Monday (August 15, 2022) for batch 10 and 11 still at 20 units per batch.

We are still working on 13 queued units that are included in clean up and repair.

In line with this, these are our new rules and guidelines for unit acceptance for the new batches to be open.

GENERAL DETAILS:
1. Shop is open at 10:00AM to 6:00PM Mondays to Saturdays.
2. Shop is closed during Sunday, holidays and personal matters (will be announced a day or week before).
3. We prefer you to send your items via courier services if in metro manila or shipping services if outside metro manila for ease of transaction.
4. Walk-ins will be allowed (for unit drop off) but with appointments only following our shop schedule.
5. In accepting your items, we follow first-come, first-serve policy and will have a slot for each item once the unit is within the shop (and already has a check-up fee and filled out form).
6. After receiving your unit and having them in line, we will proceed with the assessment followed by the repair cost quotation then we will wait for your signal to proceed with the repair or for the pullout.
7. Shipping to and from D’ds Elex are always handled by the client.
8. Discounts will be applied for multiple units per customer only.

Good Afternoon! As of today, D'ds Elex is now full and will be closed temporarily while we finish all the units in line for repair and check up.

Thank you for your trust in our service and extending your patience due to the long wait of checking them all (All repairs and check ups will still proceed even in closing and doing parallel/multiple jobs for faster updates and assessment)

We will announce reopening shortly after all units are repaired and released from the shop so we can have a fresh start for batch 10.

Hello goodafternoon!

Due to lots of clients asking to send their units even though we are cut off last week, we will extend the receiving for special batch within this week (until friday only July 22, 2022)

If you wish to have your unit to have a slot in line for check up and repair, don't hesitate to send us a message.

Goodafternoon!!

Advisory: We will give special slots for batch 9 (currently at slot 19 - last 1 unit before batch cutoff) until this saturday for those who wish to be included on the said batch line before the shop closes for a week or 2 to give focus on the units accepted.

Just give us a DM if you want your unit to be serviced and included in batch 9. Until saturday July 16,2022 only thank you!
