As a follow-up to our hardware showcase, we’re excited to share the Project SEDI Dashboard – a web-based monitoring platform designed to provide real-time insights into dam health and safety.

This dashboard consolidates sensor data from multiple locations, giving operators and decision-makers a clear and actionable view of critical dam parameters.

We’re proud to share one of our recent government collaborations – Project SEDI, an advanced Dam Monitoring System developed for the Department of Science and Technology (DOST).

Designed for real-time and resilient environmental monitoring, Project SEDI ensures reliable data gathering and transmission even in challenging conditions.

A Compact UPS Module for IoT Solutions!

I’m thrilled to share my latest project: a UPS Module designed to deliver stable 5V and 3.3V at 3A for IoT applications. This versatile module ensures uninterrupted power and stability for your devices, no matter the input source.

Key Features:
✅ Multiple Power Inputs:
• USB Input
• Solar Input (up to 12V)
• Battery Input (1S LiPo with built-in BQ24040 charger)

✅ Seamless Power Management:
• Intelligent gating logic to prioritize external power sources, cutting battery usage when external power is available.
• Internal ORing circuit to manage multiple inputs (Solar and USB).

✅ Stability & Adjustability:
• TPS54331DR Buck Converter for stable 5V and 3.3V output.
• Built-in calibration potentiometer to adjust acceptable external input range before the battery kicks in.

✅ Monitoring & Indicators:
• External pinouts for monitoring input voltages.
• Charging indicator: Turns on while charging and switches off when fully charged.

✅ Efficient Charging:
• Capable of simultaneous charging from an external source with a charging temperature of only 55°C.

🚀 Introducing Our Latest Creation: A Robust Data Logger Module!

We are excited to share a data logger module I’ve designed and developed, aimed at simplifying data logging tasks for external microcontrollers. This module is equipped to handle real-world requirements efficiently and provides seamless communication via I2C.

Key Features:
✅ SD Card Storage: Log critical data securely for future analysis.
✅ Real-Time Clock (RTC): Uses the DS1302 RTC for precise time-stamping of logged data.
✅ I2C Communication: External MCUs can interact with the module easily over I2C, with selectable communication logic levels for flexibility.
✅ Low Power Control: Includes an enable pin to completely turn off the unit for optimized power usage.
✅ Dedicated MCU: Offloads programming tasks from the master MCU for streamlined operation.
