The DC Dota 2 Shuffle Tournament delivered high-intensity matches and dramatic turnarounds in its post-Valentine’s edition, as rivalries intensified and a new champion rose to the top.

After an impressive winning streak, Team Hesoyam’s dominance finally came to an end. Once the team to beat, Hesoyam settled for a third-place finish this time around. The squad—composed of Ty, Homer, Otyong, and Dan—fought hard throughout the bracket but ultimately fell short of reclaiming the title.

Emerging victorious in spectacular fashion was Team Raul, the tournament’s new champion. The powerhouse lineup of Arth, Harry, Dylan, and Justin showcased exceptional teamwork, strategic drafting, and composure under pressure. Their coordinated plays and clutch performances propelled them past their toughest competitors, earning them the crown and solidifying their place at the top.

Meanwhile, Team Kobe entered the tournament with high expectations but faced adversity along the way. Playing short-handed, the team—made up of Jerenz, Michael, Jeboy, and Wilrex—was unable to defend. Despite their resilience and experience, they ultimately relinquished their championship run.

The tournament proved once again why Dota 2 remains one of the most competitive and unpredictable esports titles. With shifting rosters and the shuffle format keeping teams on their toes, every match delivered excitement for players and spectators alike.

Congratulations to Team Raul for their championship victory, and commendations to all participating teams for their incredible performances.

GGWP everyone—until the next shuffle.
