We're giving this case away! Well, kind of 😃

Hyte asked us if we wanted to make content with this and we said yes but we didn't want to do just another case review. Lots of other tech channels do that already.

What a lot of other channels are not though is an actual PC shop so we thought it would be fun if we gave away this case but to a customer who would be getting a full rig na bagay in this very lovely Black Cherry Y50.

Samsung Odyssey G9 bought May 2022 and now has no display.

Unfortunately out of warranty already - Samsung will still service it but with fees involved. We're helping the customer coordinate the repair, the unit is in the shop now and Samsung is scheduled to come over soon.

We've had a bunch of LG monitors conk out on us as well over the course of this year - all covered under warranty, although to be fair those were newer units (less than 4 years old).

Still, not a great look for both LG and Samsung. (Personally I'm a fan of LG monitors as price to performance, if not good, is usually at least interesting, but their durability is a concern.)

My Asus Oled is just about coming up on the 4 year mark with no signs of any problems, knock on wood!

This PC was not bought from us but was brought to us last year because it was not booting up. When we opened it up last year we saw that the liquid metal was A MESS. Like liquid metal everywhere.

Once we cleaned the liquid metal everything worked normally.

PC back this year for cleaning and diagnostics since it would black screen even on idle and sudden shut down on load.

That it's with us again is a sign the owner trusts us NOT the one where he bought it from 😅

OS reformat seems to have done the trick, no more crashes after that. We cleaned and cable managed it too so it is back to its rgb on white glory.

Buying a new PC is exciting but it should just be THE START of the relationship; make sure you buy your PC from a shop you can trust even after the build is done.

Fortunately in our case customer already knew they were bent and came to us to fix them. 😅

Tbh this was a bit difficult to straighten out as there were bent pins in all 4 corners of the CPU but with some patience and deft fingers we got everything straightened out. Customer might proceed with asking us to build a PC from parts he already has.

Para lang malinaw ah, bent na talaga yung pins bago dumating sa amin 😉

🔥 FIRE SURVIVOR 🔥

Customer's house was caught in a residential fire, so he came to us to check if some of his PC parts were still working.

Unfortunately this GPU wouldn't boot during testing due to heavy rust and corrosion. Cx still decided to take a chance on our cleaning service, hoping that the GPU could be revived.

We carefully scrubbed the mainboard using water and dishwashing soap, then thoroughly dried all the components before reassembling everything.

After that, GPU resurrected! Working fine now 👌

Our queue is pretty much done so if you're looking for dekstop, gpu or laptop cleaning now is the time to bring them in... tbh we're usually backed up so now is a rare window where if you bring your items in for cleaning we will jump on them right away.

(Can also pick up with our in house courier! 🏍)

Many of our customers do this, trust us to keep the pieces in storage (free, we do not have a storage fee) until everything is complete and we can build.
