Contest Update and Announcement

We would like to inform everyone that we have received multiple reports regarding unusual engagement activity on some contest entries. To ensure fairness and transparency for all participants, our team has reviewed the submitted entries and engagement activities.

After careful consideration, the contest management team has decided that only the number of valid likes/reactions on each photo entry will be counted as the basis for engagement. Shares will no longer be included in the criteria.

Please also be reminded that entries found with duplicate, spam, suspicious engagement activity, or the use of AI-generated images that do not comply with contest guidelines may be subject to disqualification at the discretion of the organizers.

This adjustment is being implemented to maintain fairness and provide equal opportunity for all participants. We sincerely appreciate your understanding, cooperation, and continued support.

The organizers reserve the right to verify entries and disqualify fraudulent or suspicious activity.

📢⚓ OFFICIAL CONTEST UPDATE & REVISED MECHANICS ⚓📢

To all participants of the "My Life at Sea: A Seafarer's Story" Photo Contest, thank you for your overwhelming support and participation.
As the contest progresses, we have received several reports regarding questionable sharing activities and engagement patterns on some entries. To uphold the integrity of the competition and ensure fairness for all participants, the organizing team has carefully reviewed the situation.
After thorough evaluation, we are implementing the following revision to the contest mechanics:

✅ Only valid reactions (Likes, Love, Care, Wow, etc.) on the photo entry will be counted.

❌ Shares will no longer be included in the judging criteria.
This adjustment is necessary due to concerns involving:
• Hidden or unverifiable shares
• Suspicious or fraudulent engagement activity
• Artificially inflated sharing methods that may create an unfair advantage

To maintain a fair and transparent contest, the organizers reserve the right to verify all entries and engagement activities. Entries found to have:
• Duplicate or fake accounts
• Spam or suspicious reactions
• Fraudulent engagement practices
• AI-generated images that do not comply with contest guidelines
may be disqualified at the discretion of the organizers.

🏆 Winners will now be determined based on the highest number of valid reactions received during the contest period.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we continue to celebrate the inspiring stories of seafarers while ensuring a fair competition for everyone.

Today, we honor the fathers who sail far from home to provide a better future for their families.

Being a seafarer means making sacrifices that few people truly understand. It means missing birthdays, family gatherings, school events, and precious moments with loved ones. Yet despite the distance and challenges of life at sea, seafarer fathers continue to work tirelessly, driven by their love and commitment to their families.

Every voyage represents a sacrifice. Every day away from home is a testament to a father's dedication and strength.

To all seafarer dads around the world, thank you for your hard work, resilience, and unconditional love. Your sacrifices do not go unnoticed, and your families are proud of the life you are building for them.

United Training Services proudly joined the 17th FAME Fun Run 2026 held at Parqal, ASEANA City, Parañaque, in support of this year’s theme, “Fit for Duty, Fit for Life.”

Our UTS team actively participated in the run alongside members of the maritime community, promoting the importance of health, wellness, and an active lifestyle among seafarers and maritime professionals.

As one of the event sponsors, UTS was also present through our booth, where our team introduced attendees to the E-Sea App by UTS—helping seafarers digitalize and manage their documents conveniently anytime, anywhere. While some of our employees joined the run, two of our team members proudly represented UTS at the booth, engaging with participants and sharing how E-Sea App supports seafarers in their career journey.

At United Training Services (UTS) , we believe that stronger connections create stronger service.
