The Center for Continuing Education and Special Competencies in line with the Mapúa University's mission, aims to provide lifelong learning opportunities that enhance professional skills & develop intellectual potential. Formerly known as MAPÚA CONTINUING EDUCATION PROGRAM (CEP), the CENTER FOR CONTINUING EDUCATION AND SPECIAL COMPETENCIES (CCESC) was granted accreditation by the Professional Regulations Commission (PRC), with PRC ACCREDITATION NUMBER: 99-266, to hold Continuing Professional Education (CPE) seminars/trainings/workshops for the following professionals:

• Electronics and Communications Engineers
• Environmental and Sanitary Engineers
• Civil Engineers
• Geologists
• Industrial Engineers
• Mechanical Engineers
• Metallurgical Engineers

Mapúa CCESC established in 1986, is the training arm of the University that provides Curriculum Integrated Program (CIP) and Continuing Education Program (CEP). For CIP, training courses with certifications are embedded and aligned in the curricula of engineering and non-engineering programs that will prepare the students to become competitive in the industry upon graduation while for CEP, training courses are conducted for professionals who would like to enhance and to up-to-date their special competencies with corresponding continuing professional development (CPD) units as per requirement of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) in the Philippines. With its vision of becoming a premier center of non-conventional learning, Mapúa CCESC aims to utilize all technological breakthroughs and innovative and state-of-the-art instruction to raise the level of proficiency and global-competitiveness of MAPÚA graduates in particular and Filipino Engineering and IT professionals in general.
