On this day, we remember Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino Jr., a Filipino who stood firmly for his beliefs and for the hope he held for the Filipino people. [Advisory 2026-019] Due to the anticipated inclement weather, heavy rainfall, and gusty winds caused by Tropical Depression "Maymay" and the enhanced Southwest Monsoon as forecasted by PAGASA, classes in the University of Makati will shift to asynchronous modality tomorrow, August 7, 2026.

Meanwhile, administrative services will continue on-campus (face-to-face) operations.
