Job Summary:
The Infrastructure Presales Engineer acts as the primary technical advisor during the sales cycle. You will work alongside the Sales Lead to design, demo, and propose hardware, software, and cloud solutions, ensuring technical feasibility and scalability.
I. Roles and Responsibilities
● Lead technical discovery meetings to identify client business objectives, current
infrastructure challenges, and future-state requirements.
● Create a customized designs for data centers, hybrid cloud, storage, and networking.
● Act as an advisor to C-level stakeholders, demonstrating how infrastructure enhancements drive business agility.
● Own the technical content for RFP/RFI/RFQ ensuring accuracy and competitive differentiation.
● Lead technical demonstrations, PoCs, and pilot
evaluations to validate solution performance in client environments.
● Work with vendors and internal teams to build Bills of Materials and Scope of Work.
● Provide technical training to sales agents on new product features and infrastructure trends.
II. Technical Competencies
● Deep understanding of server technologies and storage solutions.
● Strong knowledge of hybrid and multi-cloud strategies, specifically with and VMware environments.
● Experience with Software-Defined Networking and network edge security.
● Proficient in designing Disaster Recovery and Backup strategies.
III. Job Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
● 3-5+ years in a technical presales, solution architect, or technical consultancy role.
● Relevant certifications: CCNA/CCNP/CCIE, VCP, AWS/Azure Solutions Architect, CISSP.
● Excellent presentation skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
