AC TECHNICIAN
(FOR SMART/PLDT CLIENT)

Position Summary
The AC Technician will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our residential and/or commercial clients. This includes installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various AC and HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Installation & Repair: Install, maintain, and repair all types of air conditioning systems (e.g., split-type, window units, package units, centralized systems, etc.).
Diagnostics: Accurately diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems using appropriate testing equipment (multimeters, pressure gauges, etc.).
Maintenance: Perform routine and preventive maintenance, including checking refrigerant levels, cleaning coils and filters, lubricating parts, and inspecting components for wear and damage.
Customer Service: Communicate effectively with clients to explain system issues, repair procedures, and maintenance needs. Provide cost estimates for repairs and new installations.
Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, industry standards, and environmental regulations, especially regarding refrigerant handling.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all service calls, maintenance performed, parts used, and time spent on work orders.
Emergency Service: Respond to emergency repair calls promptly and efficiently (may require occasional after-hours or weekend work).
Qualifications and Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience as an AC or HVAC Technician.
Education/Training: High School Diploma or equivalent. Completion of an accredited HVAC/Refrigeration technical program or relevant certifications (e.g., TESDA certification in AC Servicing) is highly preferred.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of electrical and refrigeration principles. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Licenses: Valid [Driver's License and/or Professional License/Certification] is required.
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy equipment (up to [e.g., 50] lbs), work in confined spaces, and perform manual tasks in various weather conditions.
