⁠The implementation of Manual Load Dropping (MLD) is due to limited generation and no import power from Mindanao grid.

Schedule may be cancelled if system condition improves, such as if actual demand falls below projections.

for accounts with unpaid balances. Once the line is cut, a reconnection fee of 150 will be apply.

NGCP is requesting NORSAMELCO to prepare for possible Manual Load Dropping (MLD) today, September 1, 2026, and to wait for NGCP’s confirmation before proceeding.

LOAD REDUCTION REQUIREMENT:
5:01PM - 6:00PM : 2.0MW
6:01PM - 7:00PM : 4.2MW
7:01PM - 8:00PM : 3.6MW
8:01PM - 9:00PM : 1.2MW
9:01PM - 10:00PM : 1.2MW

The following lines/areas may be temporarily shut down, depending on the required MW reduction:
