𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗮𝗻𝘁: 𝗠𝘆 𝗧𝗣𝗦𝗔-𝗕𝗖𝗧𝗪 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 💙💫

Hello, I'm Reynan and this is my journey at Team Philip Skills Academy.

It was in February 2008 when I reunited with my home church, the WCG-GCI Ipil congregation.

That same month, Ptr. Geoffrey Balatero asked me if I would be interested in studying the Basics on PC Operations. He then invited me to join his crew as a working student. I eagerly said yes and began working with him while enrolled in BCTW Batch 8.

In his store, I had access to computers, which gave me the privilege to learn faster than my classmates. Truly, it was God’s plan—because after just a few sessions, some volunteers stopped serving, and that opened the way for me to become a student-volunteer. I was studying while assisting Ptr. Geoffrey in the sessions.

Dako kaayo og natabang ang setup—not only did I learn more, but I was also able to share my learnings with others. From then until 2012, I was one of the volunteers in BCTW. During that time, TPSA was still being conceptualized, though the name, vision, and mission were already clear: to reach and to teach.

For me, the mission and vision of TPSA are very personal. I am one of those who were reached—not only physically, but also spiritually and skills-wise. I was taught not only the basics of computer operations but also the Word of God, which has forever transformed my life.

Ptr. Geoffrey also helped me pursue my college education while working and volunteering with him. By God’s grace, through TPSA-BCTW and my experience as a trainer, I PASSED the NCII PC Operations Assessment under TESDA.

TPSA-BCTW molded my passion for teaching and for proclaiming the Word of God.

By God’s favor, I completed my Bachelor of Elementary Education at Medina College Ipil and later earned a Master of Arts in Transformational Leadership at IGSL Asia.

Today, I serve as an Associate Pastor and Minister Team Leader in the GCI Churches of Pampanga and Plaridel, Bulacan. I am married to Gemma, and we are blessed with a son, Azy.

From someone lost in many aspects of life, I was led to BCTW—and now, by God’s grace, I serve in His Kingdom works.

And it all began with Ptr. Geoffrey’s sincere invitation, and my simple response: “Oo, sige apil ko ana, Sir.” God used that moment to change my life completely.

𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐃𝐨𝐮𝐛𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐁𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬: 𝐌𝐲 𝐓𝐏𝐒𝐀 𝐉𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲 💙 💫

I am Mr. Rey Neil O. Aposaga, a graduate from Ipil District.

At first, I had no plans to join this course because I was doubtful. Libre ra man gud—kinsa bay dili magduhaduha kung ingnan ka nga libre ra, diba? Wala nay libre karong panahuna. But maybe it was God’s will, kay He used people as instruments para makaapil ko. Akong mga kabatchmates sa college recommended this school for ranking or professional purposes pag-graduate. Since tambay rako sa balay and wanted to change the pace of my life, I took a leap of faith.

I attended the orientation at STII, and honestly, I told myself I had to graduate—nahasol kaayo ko sa 8 floors nila, kapoy ug hangak kaayo pasaka sa hagdanan ato nga time. If you know, you know.

During classes, we had devotionals before each session. I’m not extremely religious, but I attend Sunday Mass regularly. Still, it’s different when you truly realize how important God is in our lives. Through this course, and especially with the help of Ma’am Daphne who led the devotionals, I formed a rock-solid foundation to appreciate God’s words and His sacrifices for us. Tungod ani, nareconnect gyud ko sa Ginoo.

This course also taught me the importance of technology. Matudloan mi sa basics—MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel—and it’s free! Truly, I feel blessed and lucky.

I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the trainers who were so patient and kind, always understanding our class and teaching us even while busy with other work. Your dedication is highly commendable, and I sincerely thank you.

To Pastor Geoffrey, thank you very much for establishing this free course. Dakong salamat pud sa STII, TESDA, DICT, and all the other people who helped us improve our computer skills.

I am also grateful for the friendships we formed along the way—the laughter, the frustrations when we couldn’t access links for certificates, the nervousness during demos, and even those moments when short-term memory failed us. This journey may be short, but the lessons and experiences will stay with us throughout our lifetime, and we should cherish them.

From the bottom of my heart, with humility and grace, I would like to say thank you.
