Taking the leap from its pilot test launching last year, manipesto is set to conclude its 10-year long developmental stage journey with its official grand launching this coming ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฌ๐๐๐ฒ, ๐๐ฎ๐ง๐ ๐๐, ๐๐๐๐.
Bringing its digitalization efforts for maritime passenger safety back to its roots, the project is to be implemented in the trips going to and fro the Parola Ferry Terminal - Jordan Wharf (v.v) route, where passengers are anticipated to scan their manipestoยฉ passenger QRs before boarding instead of writing in the paper-based passengers manifest.

Passengers can now use their manipestoยฉ passenger QRs to ride on any ferry for all trips coming from and going to Jordan Wharf. The project's "scan-to-board" procedure is now available for the trips of:

โข Buenavista and Jordan Ferry, Inc. (MV Micole, MB Balabag, MB Manoc-Manoc)
โข 3S Marine Transport Services Corporation (MB 3'S Uno)

In preparation for the official launching next week, a dry-run of the project's "Register Once, Scan-to-Board, Clear without Paper" process will be carried out this ๐
๐ซ๐ข๐๐๐ฒ, ๐๐ฎ๐ง๐ ๐๐, ๐๐๐๐, in the trips coming from Jordan Wharf together with the ferry operators, the Philippine Coast Guard Sub-Station Jordan, and the Jordan Municipal Tourism Office.
During the dry-run, the "scan-to-board" operates side-by-side with the existing paper-based manual manifest in order not to impede with the current operations of the port.
To participate, passengers are instructed to avail of their QR codes in advance via manipesto.ph/register Those without phones can approach the tourism staff in order to be issued a temporary physical passenger QR. Remember, you only need to register once and use the same QR for every trip.

In line with the municipality's festivities, a short program will be held in the New Tourism Building at the Jordan Wharf to officially open the official use of the manipestoยฉ system as the Municipality of Jordan's digital passengers manifest system and as the project's pioneering implementer. Starting June 23, 2026, all trips plying the route of Jordan Wharf - Parola Ferry Terminal (v.v.) are set to operate a hybrid operation with the project's QR scanning process working together with the manual manifest as registration campaigns officially kick-off.

The project's implementation and grand launching is made possible with the commitment of several government agencies in upholding maritime passenger safety. From the funding support of DICTโs Startup Grant Fund, the enforcement authorities of the MARINA and PCG, to the multi-council collaborative efforts of the DILG.
