What an incredible victory for Living Stone International School! The LSIS NEXUS Robotics Team has brought home the PLATINUM AWARD (CHAMPION) in the Senior Division – Idea Contest at the Universal Robotics Challenge 2025 World Finals held in Osaka, Japan! 🇯🇵

Their groundbreaking innovation, “PROJECT HIRAYA” — a name that symbolizes vision and hope — stood out on the world stage. This inspiring creation is a robotic solution designed to promote Sustainable Cities and Communities (UN SDG 11), perfectly aligning with the theme “A Better World for All.”

Through Project Hiraya, these young visionaries proved that Filipino creativity and determination know no bounds — a shining reminder that hope and progress can rise even in challenging times.

Living Stone International School Robotics Team is WORLD CHAMPION!

​Osaka, Japan just witnessed the brilliance of our students! We are bursting with pride to announce that the LSIS Nexus Robotics Team has clinched the PLATINUM AWARD (CHAMPION) in the Senior Division, Idea Contest at the Universal Robotics Challenge 2025 World Finals!

​Their winning concept, "PROJECT HIRAYA," (meaning vision and hope) rose above the global competition. The project is an innovative robotic solution designed to help create "A Better World for All" by focusing on Sustainable Cities and Communities (UN SDG 11). Project Hiraya, embodies the NEXUS Robotics Team’s purpose—to be humble instruments of change and a reminder that hope always rises even in the darkest times.
