“Why would we expect everyone to love us in a world that literally crucified Jesus—the most loving, compassionate, righteous person who ever lived? He healed people. He served people. He forgave people. He loved people. And they still crucified Him. So when people hate or reject you, remember this: their opinion does not determine your worth, and their rejection does not have to control your obedience to God.”

You will never please everyone.

Galatians 1:10 challenges us to ask a difficult question:

Am I living to please people—or to serve Christ?

So don't measure your obedience to God by how many people approve of you.

People's opinions change.

God's truth doesn't.

Stop chasing applause.
Stop letting rejection define you.
Choose faithfulness over popularity.

Who are you trying to please?

You don't have a sin problem.
You have a remembrance problem.
Because sometimes, you're still living like Jesus never finished the work.

Colossians 2:14 says that the record of debt that stood against us was blotted out and nailed to the cross.
Think about that.
Jesus didn't come to make your debt look smaller.
He came to **cancel it.
That doesn't mean sin doesn't matter.
It means your sin no longer has the final word over someone who is in Christ.
You are not defined by the person you used to be.
You were buried with Christ—and raised to walk in a new life

So why does the enemy keep dragging your past in front of you?
Because he wants you to remember your failure...
instead of remembering the cross.

So today, remember this:
Your past is real.
But Christ's finished work is greater.
Stop letting yesterday tell you who you are.
Look to Jesus.
You are alive in Christ.

TWO KINDS OF REPENTANCE

1. REPENTANCE FROM DEAD WORKS
Trying to earn God's forgiveness through our own religious works, self-righteousness, rituals, or human effort.

2. TRUE REPENTANCE — METANOIA
A genuine change of mind and heart that turns us to God and causes us to place our faith in Jesus Christ and His finished work.

We are not saved by trying to make ourselves worthy.
We are saved by grace through faith in Christ.

And let us be careful not to treat Christ's sacrifice as though it were insufficient.

Christ does not need to be sacrificed again.

His work is finished.
Our response is to repent, believe, and rest in Him.

STOP TRUSTING IN DEAD WORKS.
STOP TRYING TO ADD TO THE FINISHED WORK OF CHRIST.
REPENT. BELIEVE. REST IN CHRIST.
