After nearly two and a half years since Dota 2’s last brand-new Arcana, the wait is finally over as Tidehunter’s Maw of the Megalodon rises from the depths in the new Trove of Terror update.

Alongside the new Arcana comes 15 Immortal sets, a returning Drow Ranger Arcana, and terrifying new Tormentor & Roshan appearances—a major cosmetic drop for Dota 2 fans.

The depths have opened. Are you ready to dive in?

who can relate? 🤪

Before organizations...
some of us represented a computer shop. 😂
Everyone knew which shop had the strongest players.
Then eventually somebody would say:
“Let's make our best five play their best five.”
Suddenly it wasn't just a game anymore.
You were defending the reputation of the place where you played every day. 💀
Did your old computer shop have its own “best five”?
And were you part of it? 👀

THE GOLDEN ARCHIVES: 2024 🏆

For almost two years, whenever Team Liquid got close to a trophy, Gaimin Gladiators seemed to be waiting for them.

Lima.
DreamLeague.
Berlin.
Bali.
Riyadh.

Again and again, Liquid reached the final hurdle and GG sent them home without the trophy.

Then Copenhagen happened.

miCKe. Nisha. 33. Boxi. iNSaNiA.

Liquid tore through the upper bracket and found the same familiar opponent waiting in the Grand Final.

Only this time, the script completely flipped.

3-0.

After all the losses, all the close calls, and all the times Gaimin stood in their way, Liquid finally beat them on Dota’s biggest stage.

They could have taken the Majors.

Liquid took the Aegis.

Was there a more satisfying revenge series in TI history?
