DCPO BUSTS THE 3RD AND 4TH RANKED HIGH VALUE TARGET CITY LEVEL DRUG PERSONALITIES

The Davao City Police Office, under the command of PCOL ALBERTO P LUPAZ, City Director, apprehended the 3rd and 4th ranked High Value Target (HIV) City Level Drug Personalities in two (2) separate drug buy-bust operations conducted by Police Station 13 (Mandug) on June 26 and 27, 2023.

The said operations of Police Station 13, under the supervision of PMAJ JOSE RODRIGO B MENDOZA, Station Commander, resulted in the arrest of the two (2) HIVs and seizure and confiscation of 10.3 grams of suspected shabu with street market value of Php 156,500.00

The arrested persons, Noel Laganzo Moralla, 39 years old, a resident of Prk. 2 Mini Forest, Brgy. 23-C, Davao City who was apprehended at Brgy. Cabantian, Davao City and Cecil Lones, 42 years old, housewife, a resident of San Isidro, Buhangin, Davao City and Edna Salinas alias "DAM", a 42 years old, housewife, a resident of KM. 5, Buhangin, Davao City are now detained at PS13 pending conduct of inquest proceedings by the Office of the City Prosecution.

DAVAO CITY POLICE PUT BEHIND BARS THE TOP 2 CITY LEVEL DRUG PERSONALITY, 1M WORTH OF SHABU SEIZED

The Davao City Police Office, under the leadership of PCOL ALBERTO P LUPAZ, City Director, seized 72.78 grams of illegal drugs with an estimated street value of Php 1,164,480.00 and arrested the top 2 city level illegal drug personality.

On June 25, 2023, at about 12:55 AM, Police Station 4-Sasa, under its Station Commander, PMAJ JAKE C GOLES , conducted buy bust operation at Punong Dos, Brgy. Bunawan, Davao City against the Subject Individual 30 years old, male, single, jobless, and considered as High Value Individual (HVI) for being Number Two (2)City Level Dug Personality that resulted to the confiscation and seizure of the said illegal drugs and arrest of the above mentioned suspect.

The arrested person is now detained at PS4 Sasa pending conduct of inquest proceedings while the seized drugs were turn-over to Davao City Forensic Unit for examination and safekeeeping.

The arrest of the suspect and the seizure of illegal drugs are proofs of DCPO's relentless and unwavering campaign against illegal activity as well as its dedicated effort to eradicate the illegal drug trade in the city.

DAVAO CITY AUTHORITY NABS 18M WORTH OF ILLEGAL DRUGS, TWO DRUG PERSONALITIES ARRESTED

Davao City Police Office, under the leadership of PCOL ALBERTO P LUPAZ, City Director, together with the Task Force Davao under the command of COL DARREN E COMIA, TF Commander, confiscated MOL 1.140kg grams of illegal drugs with an estimated street value of Php 18,200,000.00 and arrested two (2) drug personalities.

On June 25, 2023, at about 4:00 PM, personnel of Police Station 8-Toril, under its Station Commander, PMAJ MICHAEL S UYANGUREN, and TF DAVAO were manning the TF Davao- Sirawan Checkpoing at Sirawan, Toril, Davao City when they flagged a black Mitsubishi Montero bearing plate number LAJ 5538 for routine check and inspection.

Thereto, the inspecting police officer saw in plain view one (1) small brown envelop with exposed transparent plastic sachet containing the suspected shabu placed at the front passenger floor and beside it were another two (2) transparent cellophanes containing 19 pcs. small brown envelops of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected shabu.

Immediately, the driver and passenger of the vehicle were arrested and are now detained at PS8 Toril pending conduct of inquest proceedings for violation of RA 9165 while the seized drugs were turn-over to Davao City Forensic Unit for examination and safekeeeping.

DAVAO CITY POLICE ARRESTS TOP 1 CITY LEVEL DRUG PERSONALITY, 2M WORTH OF SHABU SEIZED

The Davao City Police Office, under the leadership of PCOL ALBERTO P LUPAZ, City Director, seized more or less 103 grams of illegal drugs with an estimated street value of Php 2,060,000.00 and arrested the number 1 city level illegal drug personality.

On June 23, 2023, at about 10:31 in the evening, Police Station 18-Bajada, under its station commander, PMAJ ANTONIO LUY, conducted buy bust operation at Dacudao Avenue Brgy. Governor Paciano Bangoy, Davao City against KURT AARON ESPINOSA ,18 years old, single, jobless, High Value Individual (HVI) for being Number 1 City Level Dug Personality that led to the confiscation and seizure of illegal drugs worth Php 2,060,000.00 and arrest of the above mentioned personality.

The arrested person is now detained at PS18 pending conduct of inquest proceedings while the seized drugs were turn-over to Davao City Forensic Unit for examination and safekeeeping.

DCPO OFFICIAL STATEMENT
REGARDING THE DEAD BODY FOUND AT CABANTIAN BUHANGIN DAVAO CITY ON JUNE 18, 2023

The Davao City Police Office investigated the circumstances surrounding the dead body found on June 18, 2023, at about 6:30AM at Blk 20 Lot 44, Deca Homes, Cabantian, Buhangin, Davao City.

Perusing the footages from the CCTVs at the vicinity, it was determined that one (1) woman was seen dragging a cart covered with a canvass (trapal). It was further determined that inside the canvass was the body of the victim. The footages helped in the identification of the suspect.

DCPO informs the public that the suspect of the crime was already arrested by Police Station 5-Buhangin. The cadaver was brought to Funeral Homes for proper disposition.

The Davao City Police Office strongly condemns this crime and will not hesitate to impose the full force of law to whoever is caught doing illegal act or crime. Davaoeños are advised to observe the culture of security in order to maintain the peace and tranquility of the City.

THE ARREST OF TOP 9 MOST WANTED PERSON CITY/PROVINCIAL LEVEL AND TOP 2 STATION LEVEL FOR R**E, STATUTORY R**E AND LASCIVIOUS CONDUCT

Davao City - on June 16, 2023, a joint operation by PS13 Warrant Operatives PCpl Archie Daligdig and Pat Jayson Teng under the supervision of PMAJ JOSE RODRIGO B MENDOZA, Acting Station Commander together with personnel of CIDG DCFU led by PLTCOL Allan Reginald L Basiya- City Chief and personnel of 1105th MC RMFB 11 led by PCPT Kevin E Pamaos, OIC successfully arrested the top 9 city/provincial and top 2 station level most wanted person for 1 count of R**e, 2 counts of Statutory R**e and 1 count of Lascivious Conduct under Sec. 5 of RA 7610 by virtue of warrant of arrest at Sitio Ilihan, Brgy Mandug, Davao City.

Said wanted personality was then identified as SERGIO CANONIGO ARAÑEZ, male, 68 years old, single, jobless and a resident of Sitio Ilihan, Brgy Mandug, Davao City who is charged with above mentioned offenses with Criminal Case No: R-DVO-23-03037-CR to R-DVO-23-03040-CR issued on June 14, 2023, by Hon. Dante A. Baguio, Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 12, 11th Judicial Region Davao City with no recommended bail bond for R**e, 2 Counts of Statutory R**e and Php 180,000 bail bond for Lascivious Conduct.
Accused is now temporary held at PS 13 Mandug for proper for disposition.
