"There was a part of me that keeps saying, “Don’t go there… you’ll never return.”
It always say
“Stay where it’s safe…
don’t move…
don’t try… you might not come back the same.”
Now I finally understood.
Maybe that’s the point.
Growth changes you.
And I’m finally ready for that.
To the voice inside me that’s afraid, thank you for protecting me.
But I’m safe to move now.
So here I am, standing at the edge of who I used to be,
looking out into everything I can become.
And this time…
I’m taking one step forward.
Not perfect. Just real.
