MinebeaMitsumi Cebu recently joined fellow HR and business professionals at the PMAP Cebu Regional Conference XXVI: HUMAN PREMIUM – The Indispensable Edge, held last August 12–13, 2026 at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino.

Representing the company were our Human Resource Manager, Venia Alcordo, and Learning and Development Manager, Leolu Tagalog, together with members of our HR team — bringing back valuable insights to help shape how we grow and support our people.

The two-day conference brought together thought leaders, industry experts, executives, and innovators for important conversations on leadership, talent development, organizational transformation, innovation, and the future of people management.

As we continue to invest in the growth and development of our people, opportunities to learn, connect, and gain fresh perspectives help us move forward and position us for long-term success.

From August 3–7, 2026, MinebeaMitsumi Cebu welcomed faculty members from Cebu Institute of Technology–University (CIT-U) to our facility for a week of specialized, hands-on training in automation technologies, covering vision systems, sensors, motor systems, and electropneumatics.

This milestone builds on our partnership with CIT-U and the establishment of a dedicated Robotics Laboratory on campus, providing students with opportunities to gain hands-on experience using industry-relevant technologies.

By upskilling and equipping educators with practical industry knowledge, we help ensure that students receive meaningful, hands-on learning experiences that prepare them to thrive in an evolving engineering and technology landscape.

What a TREE-mendous adventure it has been! 🌲

MinebeaMitsumi Cebu continues to expand its commitment to environmental sustainability—this time reaching the breathtaking slopes of Mt. Mago for the next chapter of our Tree Planting Initiative.

More than planting trees, this milestone represents our continued effort to extend our environmental impact by reaching new communities and nurturing greener landscapes for future generations.

On July 25, 2026, 400 employee volunteers and partners — including members of our Top Management, CEMIMPCO, CENRO Danao, SSS Danao, CGSI Danao Office, and employee family members, braved a 3.3-kilometer trek to the site, planting a total of 500 seedlings (400 forest tree seedlings and 100 fruit-bearing tree seedlings).

As part of the initiative, volunteers also took part in plogging, collecting a total of 35 kilos of trash along the trail — environmental restoration with active cleanup.

MinebeaMitsumi Cebu proudly celebrated its 17th PEACE Induction and Recognition Ceremony on July 17, 2026.

For 32 incredible years, PEACE (Partnership for Empowerment and Advocacy of Cooperation and Equity) has been the heart of our labor-management council. It serves as a dedicated platform for meaningful dialogue, employee-centered programs, and positive workplace initiatives.

This momentous event was strongly supported by our top management, including our President Mr. Tatsuya Mori, Vice President Mr. Caesar Augusto, and various division heads, whose attendance reflects the organization's steadfast support for labor-management cooperation. We were also honored to welcome our distinguished guests, including Mr. Enriquito Satuita of DOLE Region VII, who delivered an inspiring keynote message, as well as representatives from the National Conciliation and Mediation Board (NCMB) Region VII and our local PEZA Zone Managers.

Congratulations to our newly elected officers!

Serving a two-year term, these champions of collaboration will act as strategic partners to our Human Resources Department. Together, they will lead dynamic employee engagement activities, support vital employee welfare initiatives, and cultivate a culture of cooperation and equity across the organization.

On July 10, 2026, MinebeaMitsumi Cebu celebrated the graduation of six new Line Leaders at our Naga Factory. This marks an important milestone in our commitment to empowering capable leaders from within the organization.

The ceremony recognized not only the successful completion of their leadership development program but also carries even greater significance as Naga Factory continues to grow as one of our newer operations.

During the program, Mr. Leolu Tagalog, Learning and Development Manager, left our graduates with a vital charge: to know the culture, embrace its values, and live by it consistently.

🏆 Two CSR Milestones for MinebeaMitsumi Cebu!

We are proud to announce that MinebeaMitsumi Cebu has been recognized at the League of Corporate Foundations (LCF) 2026 CSR Medal of Recognition, earning the Winner Award in the Disaster Resilience category for our Typhoon Tino Response and Recovery Initiatives, and being named a National Finalist in the Environment category for our Hundred Thousand Trees Program.

The awards were presented during the 2026 Conference on Good Corporate Citizenship, held on July 1–2, 2026 at the Bayanihan Center in Pasig City. Representing the company, Ms. Desiree Peralta, Senior Community Relations Specialist, proudly received the awards on behalf of MinebeaMitsumi Cebu.

We are honored to have served as the Training Partner of the Association of SEIPI People Advocates (ASPA) – VisMin Chapter for the learning session, "Engineering the Solution: Bridging Classroom Theory to Industry-Standard RCA & FACA," held on June 19, 2026, at MinebeaMitsumi Cebu – Danao Factory.

Organized by the ASPA–VisMin Chapter under the leadership of its Chairperson, Ms. Venia Alcordo, Assistant Manager for Human Resources at MinebeaMitsumi Cebu, the event reflects a shared commitment to strengthening industry-academe collaboration and advancing professional development within the semiconductor and electronics sector. The session was facilitated by our subject matter experts, Mr. Winnie Rey Castor and Mr. Ed Christian Delarama, who shared valuable insights and practical applications of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Failure Analysis and Corrective Action (FACA).

The event brought together professionals from SEIPI member companies, including Knowles Corporation, Gruppo EMS, BTC Power, and MinebeaMitsumi Cebu, as well as representatives from the academe, including Cebu Institute of Technology – University (CIT-U) and the University of San Carlos (USC).

MinebeaMitsumi Cebu welcomed seven (7) academic institutions for this year's Annual Industry-Academe Immersion Program.

Participating institutions included Caraga State University, Mindanao State University – Iligan Institute of Technology, Lyceum of the Philippines University – Davao, University of Cebu, University of San Carlos, University of San Jose–Recoletos, and Cebu Institute of Technology – University.

Held from June 22–25, 2026, the four-day immersion provided engineering educators and students with valuable firsthand exposure to a real-world manufacturing environment and the technologies transforming today's industries.

Throughout the program, participants toured our manufacturing facilities, explored automation engineering applications, and engaged in discussions on emerging AI use cases in manufacturing—from process optimization and quality enhancement to data-driven decision-making on the production floor.

At MinebeaMitsumi Cebu, we believe that meaningful industry-academe partnerships are essential in preparing future talents to thrive in a rapidly evolving world. By sharing knowledge, bridging classroom learning with real-world practice, and fostering collaboration, we hope to contribute to developing a skilled, innovative, and globally competitive workforce that supports the country's continued growth and nation-building.
