📢 Service Advisory
Our main fiber source is currently being affected by an ongoing Visayan Electric (VECO) utility line cleanup and cable management activity along C. Congson Road, Poblacion Consolacion (Skywalk area near the Mandaue–Consolacion boundary). The work involves reorganizing overhead utility and telecommunications cables to improve safety and reliability in the area.
As part of this activity, our main backbone fiber passes through the affected poles. During the cleanup, our fiber line may need to be temporarily disconnected, transferred, or rerouted to allow the work to proceed safely. This has resulted in service interruptions affecting multiple BITS Fiber subscribers.
Our technical team is:
Coordinating closely with VECO and the contractors on-site.
Continuously monitoring the condition of our backbone fiber.
Preparing to restore service immediately once the utility work allows safe reconnection.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. While this activity is beyond our direct control, please be assured that our team is on standby and will restore all affected connections as soon as the line clearance and cable transfer are completed.
