Today marks the triumphant culmination of our journey as we successfully defended our EnerGreen Green Energy Consumption Monitoring System! This project has been a labor of love, and seeing it evolve into a fully working system, not just a simulation, fills our hearts with immense pride and gratitude. We owe this success to the incredible guidance we received. A deep and heartfelt thank you goes out to our remarkable adviser, Sir Jeff P Salimbangon, for always believing in us, patiently sharing his expert wisdom, and guiding us through every challenge—your mentorship was our true anchor. We also want to give an additional, honorable mention to Sir Caminade; the initial idea he presented to us during our third-year HCI class sparked the very inspiration we needed to push EnerGreen into the powerful, operational system we defended today. To the team: we did it! Every late night and every effort was worth it. Thank you to our team for the dedication and hard work. Time to celebrate this massive milestone! 🥂 💚

Davao Light's overall residential electricity rate dropped by P1.4875 per kilowatt hour (kWh) this October, bringing the rate down to P9.1532/kWh from P10.6407/kWh last month. This rate applies to bills received from October 11 to November 10, 2025.

The adjustment is due to lower power supply prices from the Wholesale Electricity Spot Market, where Davao Light sources part of its power requirement.

Davao Light reiterates that market prices are volatile, so monthly changes in power rates are expected. Even with the decreased rate, the power distribution utility encourages customers to efficiently manage their energy consumption to avoid high electricity bills.
