Banks, financial firms to offer one-time 60-day grace period for loan payments

Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) has issued a memorandum to all its supervised banks and financial institutions on the implementation a one-time 60-day grace period to all loan payments falling due on or before December 31, 2020, in line with the recently enacted Bayanihan to Recover as One Act or Bayanihan II.

Under Bayanihan II, a non-extendible, one-time 60-day mandatory grace period shall be granted by BSP supervised financial institutions (BSFIs) with lending operations including banks, quasi-banks, non-stock savings and loan associations, credit card issuers, pawnshops, and other credit granting entities under the supervision of BSP.

Borrowers whose loans, with principal and/or interest, including amortizations, falling due, or any part thereof, on or before December 31, 2020, shall be entitled to a one-time grace period without incurring interest on interests, penalties, fees, or other charges.

Success doesn't come from hard work based on study. It's difficult to accept it specially if you have been struggling in your entire career or your business. Here are some examples to convince you that it is true.

Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon, and Bill Gates, the founder of Microsoft, the two richest people in the world are lucky to live in America. Imagine if they are both Filipinos, Bill Gates won't be able to sell his software to IBM because IBM would prefer doing business in America. As for Jeff Bezos, he wont be able to deliver his books to his customers because Philippines is made up of islands and delivering books would be expensive.

Manny Villar, the richest Filipino was born in a middle class family. It may seemed that he started small but he is actually lucky to be born gifted with intelligence. Because of this intelligence, he was able to graduate at UP and was able to work at the largest accounting firm which gives him business knowledge. His father also worked in a government department with high position so Manny Villar is lucky to have a network of financially capable people.

There are so many people who are talented, intelligent, and hardworking but they are not successful. They do not have a rich or influential family, went to a mediocre school, or live in an unproductive neighborhood.

You may be one of those unlucky people or you may be one of those successful people who believe in "hard work".

So should you stop being hard working and just wait for luck to come your way?

Lucky for you, you can be luckier through hard work but not the kind of hard work like doing repetitive tasks that can be automated or delegated to other person.

You should focus your effort that produces opportunities such as meeting new people like going to a business related event or have a small conversation with your customer. Expanding your network is similar to buying more lotto tickets, and the more tickets you have, the more chances of winning (statistically speaking).

You also need to innovate your business because how can you have time to talk to your customer or go to an event if there are so many problems that keep occurring in your business, or there are so many things that you need to do? That is why you need to utilize modern technologies and abandon the classic pen and paper style. Although it may be difficult or costly to adapt to a technology, it is worth the effort. It would help you become more structured, efficient, and may earn more profit.

And if you have a small business, you are in luck! Because VergePOS is a technology made to help you to be more efficient. It is easy to use and free! All you need is a dedication to succeed! Visit www.vergepos.com :)

Point of Sale System is very crucial to any businesses who wish to succeed, reason why all department stores and supermarkets have POS installed!

Unfortunately, POS is quite expensive due to lack of innovation. POS Providers have been using the same business model they've used more than 100 years ago!

In our country, the cost of a POS is from PhP 25,000 to 100,000.00, those with prices under PhP 40,000 have crappy software and lousy support.

That is why we have developed VergePOS! Not only we reduce the cost of innovation, but we also made it accessible to smaller businesses. We made it possible through innovation not just in technology but also with an out of the box business model.
