A few years ago, Fun Day meant Cebu-based Arcanytes getting together. These days, we’re bringing along our life partners and kids, too. 💜

This year's Arcanys Fun Day: Picnic & Play was our first time taking things partly outdoors, with a pool and a proper garden picnic setup. And of course, there were food carts, picnic blankets, pool time, Bingo, Trivia Night, and a mini raffle with some cool Arcanys merch up for grabs.

But beyond the activities, it was really about getting to know each other outside of work… meeting our colleagues’ loved ones, catching up without a deadline or meeting on the calendar, and seeing a different side of each other when we’re all just letting our hair down.

And because this Fun Day fell on a holiday, we’re especially grateful to everyone who chose to spend part of their day with us.

For us, creating a great place to work is not only about building a collaborative and supportive workplace but also about creating opportunities to build connections beyond it. So it’s really nice to see how a simple get-together has grown into something that now includes the people who matter to us outside of work, too.

🇰🇷 Last month, Arcanytes hit HYROX Incheon, and honestly… they showed up strong.

Arcanys teams joined different categories in the Doubles Division, pushing through eight brutal stations before making it to the finish line. And in record time, too!

That’s no small feat.

Big kudos to everyone who participated. The training, the grind, the early mornings, the “one more rep” moments… it all showed on race day.

Proud of what you pulled off out there. Now it’s just about keeping that momentum going. The year’s not done yet, and neither is the work. 💪

South Korea was the latest destination for our 5-Year Club! 🇰🇷

One of our long-running Arcanys traditions, the 5-Year Club brings together Arcanytes who've been with the company for at least five years for an annual trip together.

Last month, the group spent a few days in South Korea to celebrate professional milestones and deepen team relationships… enjoying delicious food, busy streets, and iconic landmarks such as the Gyeongbokgung Palace, Gangnam District, and Nami Island. There was plenty of time to connect outside of work and catch up with colleagues we’ve collaborated with for years.

For Kim and Dan, one memorable part of the trip was stumbling on a significant historic site in Seoul:

"We happened to stay in an area where there was a night market every day, even Mondays. But amazingly, every morning the streets would always be super clean. And we also stumbled into this park where we found a pagoda-style gazebo that seemed familiar. Then we realized it was the one in Squid Game 2!"

🏖️ Last April 25, over 200 Arcanytes from across the country gathered at the beach for the Arcanys Summer Games 2026 Finale. 🏆

It was the grand wrap-up to a month of sports events, in which 3 teams went all-in across various games leading up to the final day.

It’s one of those events people look forward to all year, and for good reason. When you work most of the time remotely, chances like this don’t come around often. It’s when we finally get to meet in person, catch up with familiar faces, and spend real time with teammates we’ve usually only seen on screen, especially those visiting from outside Cebu.

The day itself had a bit of everything. Great food, easy conversations, and a Summer Showdown that brought out just the right amount of friendly competition. But more than that, it’s these moments that help build real camaraderie. And that kind of connection makes a difference when it’s time to get back to work and collaborate as a team.

Not bad for a group that’s usually miles apart.

We’re in the final stretch of the Arcanys Summer Games 2026.

Just like last year, 3 teams are battling it out for the championship cup. This time, we also added the trending pickleball to the lineup, alongside basketball, badminton, bowling, and the Battle for Arcanys’ Fittest.

We’re also happy to have Arcanytes from outside Cebu joining us this week. Their arrival brings the total number of attendees to around 200 for one of our biggest company events of the year, the Summer Outing, this weekend. Getting some valuable face time together always makes moments like this even better.
