The client reached out because her computer was completely refusing to POST (no display output). After conducting a series of hardware isolation tests and giving the unit some much-needed light cleaning, we uncovered two faulty components that were causing the system to fail.

The Faulty Components: We discovered that while the graphics card was receiving power, it was outputting no display. Furthermore, the NVMe SSD was completely dead—it had no indicator lights and was totally undetected in both the BIOS and through our external bootable testing drives.

Another desktop rig is officially back from the dead after an on-site service run over at Kinasang-an, Basak Pardo, Cebu City! 📍🏠✨

The client hadn't used his computer for a long time, and when he finally decided to turn it on, he was devastated to find out that his unit was completely refusing to boot up. 🖥️❌

🛠️ The Diagnostics & Solutions:
Initial Diagnostic (VGA Debug): When we first powered on the system, the motherboard threw a VGA Debug light, which usually hints at a faulty graphics card.
Deep Slot & Contact Cleaning: Before diving into deeper troubleshooting, we gave the rig a quick light cleaning. We made sure to thoroughly clean out the PCIe slot and used our specialized techniques to clean the gold contact fingers of both the RAM modules and the graphics card to eliminate any oxidation from sitting idle. 🧼💨
Secondary Diagnostic (DRAM Debug): After cleaning the contacts and turning it back on, the error code changed! The motherboard then displayed a DRAM Debug light, indicating a memory issue.
RAM Slot Isolation: After running multiple isolation tests, we successfully pinpointed the exact issue: the client's first motherboard slot for the first memory channel had unfortunately gone bad. We reconfigured the RAM sticks into the working channels to restore a stable dual-channel boot sequence! 🧠🔄

🚀 Home Service Success: Boot Issue & Valorant Setup Resolved at Mango Green Village! 🏎️💨

Another system unit is officially up, running, and fully optimized for gaming right at the client's doorstep over at Mango Green Village, A.S. Fortuna St., Mandaue City, Cebu! 📍🏠✨

The client initially reached out because his computer was unable to boot into Windows. But once we got the boot sequence fixed, he mentioned he was also having a hard time downloading games and getting Valorant to play. 🖥️❌🎮

🛠️ The Diagnostics & Solutions:
Storage Optimization: The client's Drive C was severely limited, having only 120GB of space. Since Valorant strictly requires being installed on the main OS drive for certain anti-cheat functions, we completely removed Steam from Drive C. We then reinstalled Steam onto his much larger 512GB Drive D to clear up the necessary space on Drive C for Valorant! 📦🔄
BIOS Configuration (Secure Boot & CSM): After setting up the Valorant launcher, the game wouldn't run because Secure Boot was turned off. We dove straight into his BIOS settings, enabled Secure Boot, and disabled CSM support to comply with Vanguard's strict security requirements. 🛠️🔐
Bonus Maintenance: Once all the software and boot issues were completely ironed out, we gave his unit a nice light cleaning to make sure it looks as fresh as it runs! 🧼💨

We just wrapped up another service session for a repeat client over at Jade St., Tisa, Cebu City! 📍🏠✨

This is the exact reason why we do thorough health checks during our maintenance runs. When we did a full deep clean on this unit last month, we noticed his solid-state drive (SSD) was already degrading and gave him a heads-up about it. 🔍📉

One of our prebuilt units came back to the shop for a major repair. After its official warranty period had ended, the motherboard unfortunately got damaged and completely stopped working. 🛑🔌

📋 Diagnosis & Resolution:
Deep Testing & Diagnosis: Upon careful inspection, we isolated the issue and found out that the motherboard's SIO (Super I/O) chip was dead.
The Repair Attempt: We initially tried replacing the dead chip to see if we could save the board and minimize the cost for the client. However, after undergoing a few rigorous stability tests, the motherboard completely gave up. ⚙️❌

The Fix: To ensure 100% reliability and get the system back up and running, we ended up replacing it entirely with a brand-new motherboard! 🆕⚡
