iPhone 13 Pro Charging Issue –
The device was initially reported as not charging. A prior repair attempt had already been conducted by a home service technician, during which the charging port was replaced. However, this intervention did not resolve the issue, and the device remained non-functional in terms of charging. Despite the unsuccessful repair, the service was still charged to the customer.
Upon thorough diagnostic evaluation by our technician, the root cause was identified at the board level. Specifically, a short circuit was detected along the VBATT line on the motherboard, preventing proper power flow and charging functionality.
Our team performed a precise motherboard repair to address the VBATT line short. After completing the repair, the charging function was fully restored, and the device is now operating normally.
Conclusion:
The issue was not related to the charging port but rather a motherboard fault. Proper board-level diagnostics and repair were essential in resolving the problem successfully.
