Steps that can help optimize your slow netbook/notebook.

Upgrade RAM.

1: Always prefer High Performance sa battery setup.
2: Disable Aero and minimize the effects of windows
3: Turn Windows Feature Off (Control Panel/Programs/Turn off Feeatures)
4: Prefer lightweight Apps
5: Run and Edit msconfig.exe then disable unwanted startups
6: Don't use Hibernate
7: Always clean the machine
8. Defrag at least once a month
9. Scan for Virus
10: Disable Firewall.
11: Use Microsoft Security Essentials and Panda Cloud Antivirus because it only use 5-8mb of your RAM lightweight and effective.
12: Use only one web browser.
13: Use VLC/Umplayer for playing movies and audio since no codec needed to be install.
