Miyaw was a scrawny kitten covered with fleas when he was found all alone in a secluded part of the University of the Philippines Diliman campus in February 2020. He was rescued and given a loving home. Miyaw is now four years old—healthy and living the time of his life.
This Kitten Day, we are reminded that there is always the choice to bring a kitten in need into our own homes. Along with trap-neuter-return programs, adoptions also lessen animal homelessness.
