See that dry spot? No wonder why it’s overheating.

Never replace a liquid metal with a thermal paste UNLESS you manage to elimate the 0.4mm ~ 0.5mm gap on the cpu and copper heatsink.

No watter how many times you change the scroll wheel encoder on this Logitech GPro Superlight, it ain’t gonna work due to burnt connection to the pcb. Even I the tech doesn’t know how it got liquid damaged at that part.

Repair Initiated:

1. Change the shorted FPC connector
2. Retrace the burnt copper traces.
3. Replaced the capacitors, even a naked eye can’t notice.
4. Mods

Took out the messy recent repair.TMR for DS5, Clean solder, good calibration, perfection.

Replaced the burnt ASIC power chip for this laptop.

Small but dangerous yes, you are playing with 19V main power rail that one mistake can fry the whole CPU.
