𝑾𝒉𝒚 𝒅𝒐 𝒘𝒆 𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒇𝒆𝒓 𝑷𝑫𝑭 𝒇𝒊𝒍𝒆𝒔?

In the printing world, especially from the client's perspective, the type of file isn't always a big deal. For them, once it's sent, the shop will just "handle it" — no questions asked, right?

But here's the thing: not all files are created equal. Social media often compresses images, which reduces print quality — so that photo you saved from Facebook or Instagram might look great on your screen, but blurry or pixelated once printed.

That's why we always recommend:
Always send in PDF format

Choose high-resolution images (300 DPI recommended)

Avoid using screenshots for important prints

A little extra care in file prep goes a long way — it's the difference between a crisp, professional print and a disappointing one. So next time you're sending us your files, keep these in mind!

Let's keep your prints as sharp as your ideas

𝚆𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝙶𝚂𝙼 𝚍𝚘 𝚠𝚎 𝚞𝚜𝚎?

This is one of the most common questions we get from inquiries, and it's actually something we consider carefully. Most of our customers prefer GSM ranging from 250-300gsm, especially for prints that need a bit more sturdiness and premium feel.

Funny story — we didn't always know what GSM stood for either. We first learned it through a shop's recommendation, and once we understood it, everything clicked.

GSM stands for Grams per Square Meter — it's basically the measurement of how thick or heavy a paper is. The higher the GSM, the thicker and more durable the material. Lower GSM (like regular bond paper) is lighter and more flexible, while higher GSM (like the 250-300 range) gives that solid, high-quality feel you'd want for business cards, invitations, or premium prints.

Now, as business owners ourselves, we're paying it forward — sharing the same knowledge that helped us understand our craft better, so you can make more informed choices for your own prints too!

So next time you're picking paper for your project, you'll know exactly what to ask for.

𝘾𝙈𝙔𝙆 𝙫𝙨 𝙍𝙂𝘽

Not many people are familiar with these terms.

Some think of them as just "lights" or something technical. Others consider them unimportant.

But in our business, they make all the difference. These color modes aren't just for display — they represent the fusion of creativity and purpose. CMYK is for printing, where images are brought to life through Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black as its primary colors. RGB, on the other hand, is the beauty perceived through screens — its primary colors act as the source of ideas, sparking our creativity.

And with that, folks, another printing lesson from your partner!

Let's combine colors, ideas, and function — into one creative and colorful world.

𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙬𝙖𝙮 𝙩𝙤 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙛? 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙗𝙮 𝙖𝙫𝙤𝙞𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙣 𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝘾𝙍𝙄𝙎𝙄𝙎!

We just wrapped up another set for a client who wanted more than just basic IDs. They needed a design and print that didn’t just list names, but captured the company’s traits, goals, mission, and vision in a single glance.

Because these aren't just plastic cards. These PVC IDs are made for the very people who will drive the company toward its greatest success. And those matching ID Laces? They aren't just accessories—they represent the strength, unity, and unbreakable bond of the team wearing them.

When your team wears your brand, make sure it reflects where you're heading. No fading, no cheap materials—just sharp, durable quality that speaks volumes before you even say a word.

Ready to upgrade your team’s look? Send us a DM today for quotes and bulk orders!

𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡?!?!?!

Uhmm hey guys, your friendly neighborhood Cent Serif here — web-slinging, wall-crawling, and occasionally late because the printer jammed (again).

I've swung past burning buildings and taken a Green Goblin pumpkin bomb to the face, but none of that compares to watching a great design get ruined by bad printing — that's a villain origin story on its own. Because being a hero isn't just the mask or the moves, it's the details. Same with design: sharpest logo, boldest poster, cleanest layout... if the printing's weak, that's like fighting Venom with a pool noodle. Doesn't hit the same.

So this month, we're swinging in right on time — flyers, banners, business cards, all crisp enough to make Aunt May proud.

With every order comes a great responsibility—to deliver quality prints, careful details, and results you can trust.

Thwip. Print. Repeat.
