In the last 24 hours there have been well over 100 aftershocks of over 5 points, and four of over 6 points. The initial earthquake was 7.6 a little less than 100 miles from Butuan. No details as to where precisely, but there is a BBC report of one death and 7 injuries, as well as cracked roads. Butuan hospital evacuated and people left their homes and crowded the parks and the streets all night.
