7 out of 11 sites completed for our client's NATIONWIDE Access Point Upgrade, with today's deployment successfully completed at our client's facility in Gateway Tower 2, Araneta Center, Cubao, Quezon City. β
A total of 21 new Cisco Meraki CW9162 (Wi-Fi 6) Access Points were installed, replacing the existing Meraki MR33 and MR34 (Wi-Fi 5) units as part of our client's ongoing network modernization and migration to the latest Wi-Fi 6 technology.
In addition, several existing Meraki MR36 (Wi-Fi 6) access points were also replaced with CW9162 units, despite already supporting Wi-Fi 6, as part of the client's evaluation of a site operating entirely on the latest CW9162 platform.
Additional CW9162 access points were also deployed in areas with weak Wi-Fi coverage, bringing the total number of Cisco Meraki CW9162 access points installed at the site to 30 units.
As part of the upgrade, network recabling was also performed on cable runs that had been generating connectivity alerts, improving the overall reliability, stability, and performance of the client's network infrastructure.
Existing Cat5 cables were upgraded to Cat6 to support higher bandwidth, multi-gigabit connectivity, and maximize the performance of the new Wi-Fi 6 access points.
